The Extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal or sensitive user data to external servers.

Web Request Access

The Extension uses browser APIs such as webRequest, tabs, and scripting to monitor network activity on visited websites in order to detect API errors.

This includes access to request metadata such as:

• Request URLs
• HTTP methods
• Status codes
• Network error details

The Extension does not read or store request or response bodies.

All data is processed locally and temporarily in browser memory and is used solely to provide debugging functionality within the Extension interface.

Local Storage

The Extension may use the browser’s storage APIs (such as chrome.storage) to persist user preferences, settings, or cached error logs for convenience.

This data remains on the user’s device and is never transmitted externally. Users can clear this data at any time via browser settings or by uninstalling the Extension.

No External Transmission

The Extension does not use cookies, analytics tools, tracking technologies, advertising services, or remote servers.

No data collected or processed by the Extension leaves the user’s browser.

Permissions Justification

The Extension requires the following permissions:

• webRequest – to observe network requests and detect errors
• tabs – to associate network activity with browser tabs
• scripting – to enable integration with DevTools and UI features
• storage – to save user preferences locally
• <all_urls> – to monitor requests across all websites for debugging purposes

Children’s Privacy

The Extension is not intended for children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
